Dynamap®/5-Digit ZIP Codes contains the ZIP Codes for the entire U.S. and Puerto Rico.
It also includes changes that have occurred within the preceding quarter.
This product comes with three ZIP tables to choose from for optimum performance on your
particular application: Combined boundary and point table, which is optimal for geocoding
Separate boundary table, which supports thematic mapping for area shading
Separate point table, which makes actual points more visible.5-Digit ZIP Code Boundaries now
comes in two forms: The (regular) 5-Digit ZIP Code Boundaries, which have some of the internal water boundaries cut out and displayed
as holes. The area and shape of these boundaries are more accurate for detailed analysis, such as dot density and other
geocoding-type applications.The “waterless” 5-Digit ZIP Code Boundaries come with the internal water boundaries filled in.
This allows for a much nicer and quicker display, especially in areas around major waterways. This file is also particularly
useful for thematic shading or combining into larger boundaries.
